Restore yourself like Kintsugi

A Wellness & Art Retreat Under the Hunter’s Moon

There are moments that invite us to slow down, look within, and discover a new kind of beauty in what we have lived through. This October, Guaycura and Todos Santos become the setting for six days of art, writing, contemplation, ocean, and carefully curated experiences designed to help us recognize what this season of life has left behind—and choose what we want to carry with us into what comes next.

The cracks are part of the story

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics by highlighting their fractures with gold.

Rather than hiding them, it integrates them into the story of the piece. The marks remain, yet they transform what was once broken and reveal a different kind of beauty.

From this philosophy comes Mend Yourself Like Kintsugi: an invitation to look within, acknowledge the marks left by experience, and rebuild from there.

Not to become who we once were.

But to give our story a new place—and make room for what comes next.

Six days, one journey

Each day unfolds at a different rhythm, moving between creativity, contemplation, nature, and connection. A journey that begins with a pause and gradually moves toward observation, restoration, integration, and the harvesting of what has been lived.

A place to return to yourself

Some experiences need movement. Others need silence to find their place.

Between workshops, walks, and shared moments, Hotel Galería Guaycura becomes a place to pause. Five nights in the heart of Todos Santos, in thoughtfully curated rooms with air conditioning, quiet, comfort, and time simply to be.

The experience also extends to El Faro Beach Club, facing the Pacific, with moments to rest, walk, write, or let the day unfold at a different pace.

Harvest to Begin Again

The Hunter’s Moon follows the Harvest Moon.

For centuries, this moment marked a transition: first came the gathering of what had been sown; then came the time to prepare for the cycle ahead.

That same idea runs through the retreat.

Look back at the journey. Recognize what remains. Choose what you want to keep.

On October 25, we will gather at El Mirador as the sun descends over the Pacific and the Hunter’s Moon begins to rise above the horizon.

A final dinner to integrate the experiences of the retreat, reconnect with what moved within us, and share one last evening of flavor, conversation, and a view that appears only once each year.
